‘Dog Whistle to Potential Assassins’: Critics Slam Kamala Harris’ ‘Desperate’ Comparison of Donald Trump to Hitler

Vice President Kamala Harris’ remarks comparing former President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler are being strongly denounced by allies of the former president.

On Wednesday, just 13 days before the November 5 general election, Harris delivered televised remarks from the Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C., where she compared her opponent to genocidal dictator Adolf Hitler.

“Trump said he wanted generals like Adolf Hitler had. He wants a military that is not loyal to the Constitution, but loyal to him… This is a window into who Donald Trump really is from the people who know him best,” Harris said.

“It is deeply troubling and incredibly dangerous that Donald Trump would invoke Adolf Hitler, the man who is responsible for the deaths of six million Jews and hundreds of thousands of Americans,” the vice president added.

Harris was referencing an interview with The New York Times where former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly said Trump fits the definition of “fascist” and another interview with The Atlantic where Kelly claimed Trump, while in office, said he wanted the U.S. military to be like “Hitler’s generals” when it comes to loyalty.

The Trump campaign has since called Harris’ claims about the former president the actions of “a stone-cold loser who is increasingly desperate because she is flailing, and her campaign is in shambles.”

In the hours after Harris’ remarks, many of Trump’s allies have defended him and condemned the vice president for her rhetoric ahead of Election Day.

Nick Ayers, former Vice President Mike Pence’s Chief of Staff, was among those who defended Trump, writing on X, “I’ve avoided commenting on intra-staff leaks or rumors or even lies as it relates to my time at the White House but General Kelly’s comments regarding President Trump are too egregious to ignore.”

Ayers called Kelly’s commentary about Trump “patently false,” adding, “I was with each of them more than most.”

Another Trump ally who denounced Harris’ remarks was neurosurgeon and former presidential candidate Ben Carson, who called the vice president’s comments “desperate, deranged, and dangerous.”

The America PAC, created by billionaire Elon Musk, also commented on Harris’ remarks, writing in an X post, “Instead of talking about her vision for the country, Kamala Harris decided to hold a surprise press conference to compare Donald Trump to Hitler based on unsubstantiated claims that have been denied by everyone involved.”

The PAC added, “Joy!”

Other Trump allies called out Harris’ remarks as a call of division and for mass violence, in the case Trump was to win the election, with former U.S. Associate Attorney General Rudy Giuliani calling the comments a “dog whistle to potential assassins.”

“Kamala knows there have been two assassination attempts and countless threats on [Trump’s] life. It couldn’t be any clearer—this is a dog whistle to potential assassins,” Giuliani said.

Sean Davis, CEO and co-founder of The Federalist, compared Harris to a “deranged ex who declares that if he can’t have her no one can.”

“Democrats are preparing to incite and inflict massive violence against the country when they are thrown out of power. If they can’t run the country, they’ll make sure there’s no country left to run,” Davis added.

Former Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. also spoke out against Harris’ remarks, calling such comments the “kind of inflammatory poison that divides our nation and inspires assassins.”

“It’s particularly ironic since Biden/Harris have just pushed through DoD Directive 5240.01 giving the Pentagon power — for the first time in history — to use lethal force to kill Americans on U.S. soil who protest government policies. If you want to understand a politician, the words from her mouth have little relevance. Look at her feet,” Kennedy added.

    The behavior of the Harris campaign shows how desperate they are. Rule number one for dealing with the democrats is; whatever they accuse others of, they themselves are guilty. Confiscation of firearms, silencing free speech, two issues that the donks keep trying to force on America. I read a great article this morning;

    https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2024/10/literally_hitler_a_historian_examines_democrat_accusations_against_trump_and_the_gop.html

As you read through it, the parallel between the biden administration and Hitlers actions says it all.

Kamala is so weak with those intellectual weaknesses coming to the forefront. She cannot articulate a vision, she has none. She cannot speak to leadership as that strength evades her. She cannot submit to unstructured interviews as it exposes her lack of ability. As such, so consistent with the dementia saddled Joe Biden, she resorts to name calling. She deflects inquiries by spinning lies and name calling. Kamala is pathetic and an extremely poor representative of the democrat party. No wonder so many are jumping ship. Having said all that, please get out and vote. Let’s bury Kamala as her party did in 2020. A massive loss such as Walter Mondale had in 1984 might just shut Kamala up and put her on the sideline.
